About Me

For those who don’t know me, my name is Sam McCallie. I was born and raised in Arizona and currently live in Globe, a historic mining  town east of Phoenix.

From 2005 to 2013, I was a journalist in the city of Maricopa.  I always had my camera with me in case of breaking news and began taking shots of interesting places and sights that I happened to run across.

Although I'm not out chasing headlines anymore, I still enjoy visiting scenic places and historic sites.  The pictures I take serve as reminders of those journeys.  Hopefully others may find enjoyment in them and perhaps be inspired to make some memorable journeys of their own!
